The graduation ceremony will be held tomorrow night, Thursday, June 4th. As in years past, upon the conclusion of this ceremony, there will be a fireworks display.

(1/2) Springfield Township and the Board of Commissioners would like to congratulate the newest member of the Springfield Township Police Department, Officer Chris Dawson! Chris had the honor of being sworn in by his father, District Judge George Dawson.
(1/3) The rain is supposed to move out later today and this weekend’s forecast is for beautiful weather; just in time for the Springfield School District Jazz Bands to perform in the amphitheater!
(2/3) The Jazz Bands, under the direction of Mark Stanford, will perform at 6:30pm Saturday in the township amphitheater located at 50 Powell Road. While there is plenty of space in the amphitheater, please know that parking is limited due to the township building project.
(1/3) Springfield Township would like to sincerely thank the members of Springfield American Legion Post 227 for its tireless work to remember veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
(2/3) This year, three fallen heroes were recognized at the Memorial Day Remembrance, including Staff Sergeant William H. Bathgate, Second Lieutenant William F. McKenna and Sergeant Stanley S. Smith.

(1/4) MEMORIAL DAY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
In observance of Memorial Day, all Township offices will be closed Monday, May 25th. There will be no trash or recycling collection. Please hold all items until your next regularly scheduled pick-up day.
(3/4) The parade is scheduled to begin at 9:45am and will travel down Saxer Avenue to Powell, where it will make a left turn and travel to the municipal lot behind Wawa. The main service will begin at approximately 10am at Old Central School.
