Running out now. It feels like a lot's happened since our Springsteen book came out... but such happy memories. Still so grateful to @ReneBackstreets for his wonderful photos & buddies such as @wildandinn for getting us through.

I’m pretty sure that I’m guilty of doing what most people do & only post good news on my social media. Pictures of sunny scenes, a bit of boasting about work.
So, as it’s the middle of the night and no-one is reading this, here is something for the CARERS out there.

To help you get up & going here's a selection of photos of Bruce Springsteen jumping around the stage.
These were taken in the 1970s & 1980s, and it's quite an achievement that he remains possibly the greatest live act in the world.
I’ve written millions of words over the yrs. For newspapers, TV, and books.
It started because I read & read like crazy as a kid.
And it's led here: the Sunday Times bestseller list.
What a journey!
(Special thanks to my late dad, Claire B @mirrorbooks & @andrewlownie)
@SOEhistory@MuseumTangmere François Reeve was also transported by 138 Sqn, joining Michael Trotobas’ hugely successful FARMER network in Lille.
It was a mission which would feature astonishing bravery and a legendary raid on a huge railroad yard – but also tragedy and betrayal.

There are many special forces stories in the sabotage, evasion, and adventure of the Nazi Ghost Train.
This is B-24 Liberator pilot Henry Wolcott, of Michigan, who delivered SOE & OSS agents behind the lines before being shot down & going on the run.

Just watched the first episode of 'Bait' with @rizwanahmed over lunch.
One of those where you pause and realise the whole family needs to watch.
Great first episode! Very funny.
"...grief, loss, love and memory. Beginning with a conversation between Rosen and his cat Meg, the story follows his experience of losing his son Eddie, and examines how we might find our lost loved ones in the places we shared with them and in the people who knew them."
Defying Hitler: The Germans Who Resisted Nazi Rule by Gordon Thomas & Greg Lewis — narrated by Mark Bramhall is a riveting historical audiobook that shines a light on one of the most extraordinary yet often overlooked stories from World War II https://t.co/2oVUwBdjem
I loved Philip Larkin when I was a miserable, depressed youngster.
I’m less miserable now but I still love Larkin for this:
“…we should be careful
Of each other, we should be kind
While there is still time.”
"Theirs was a moral & ideological #resistance, & not the resistance to a foreign occupier. (They) were pursued most fervently by the regime."
Many thanks to Tyler Wolanin for this article on Defying Hitler.
