@HimothyReports Can’t lie he is extremely Chelsea coded. It’s not ideal at all but only EPL clubs will be able to pay for him and I think we need him out of the dressing room by any means necessary
@SebOnFootball It’s amazing how different the walk feels when we’re good v when we’re shit! Which is why the last 2 years has felt like a marathon every match day
@Forest_Review@JPercyTelegraph I think this will ultimately happen and I’m absolutely gutted. Huge potential but also already at a good level. Wasn’t great last year but injury and the Thomas Frank effect playing out of position in a shit team. Forest fans will love him
@thetimes “People are shocked to learn the person they’d seen riding a unicycle, wearing a red nose and squirting water from a flower was actually a clown all along”
@HotspurLane Good/Fast/Cheap - You can only ever have 2 of these. We wanted good and fast so they weren’t cheap. No one has mentioned that you pay a premium to get transfers done early. A full pre-season is invaluable. Would you rather Tonali be £15m cheaper if he came on 31/08?
@chrisw333@Treborf67@Lips1982@AndyKerrtv SCR? Or you mean a fixed number per player/club? If player wouldn’t richer teams pay it to everyone and have an advantage? Would the fixed number be something all clubs could afford? If yes what would that do to the value of the EPL and TV revenues? If no it’s still not fair?
@JJ0015@JNyeul@AndyKerrtv Interesting. Not sure how they would determine which revenue is used for what. You could use it on normal operations and then the money you would have spent on operations could be used for transfers/wages? Once the money is in the account I don’t know how they would differentiate
@Treborf67@Lips1982@AndyKerrtv 100%! they’re upset because they want to pump money in and cut corners to success. Regardless of what those rules would do to other clubs. The rules are why they’ve been able to jump from Champ to UCL. They’re both on track and growing but not quick enough for impatient fans
@Treborf67@Lips1982@AndyKerrtv I must have asked 100 AVFC and NUFC fans to explain how it is closed and corrupt and what the rules should be and never once had a reply
@JJ0015@JNyeul@AndyKerrtv Equity is the accumulation of net assets it’s a result not an action? Do you mean they did a share issue? (Creating new shares and buying them/diluting of shares) if so that’s exactly what Spurs did recently which makes sense. Option open for everyone so not a closed shop
@ryanjp172@dondatta13@AndyKerrtv I would hope this is a one off window of opportunity to right some long term wrongs. Owners cannot have another season of failure for so many reasons. They don’t really have a choice but to spend. IF it works then you hope you only need 1 or 2 signings a summer in the future
@JNyeul@AndyKerrtv Spurs did this! All clubs could do it in fairness you’re right. Why haven’t they? Maybe because it’s harder to get your money back than a loan because you have to sell all/part of your stake? Which (shock) shows they’re not in it for the love of the game! Like fans hope
