Palhinha has been fighting for everything - runinng himself into the ground on a boiling hot day. Smacked his head on the turf just then and you could see the cartoon tweety-birds fluttering about his flustered head. Warrior stuff.

Well, it has been front foot football, no errors made, everyone battling, a lack of composure for sure but that's been the way this season - nothing much up top. De Zerbi's played his best hand and its worked so far.

Really well done by Palhiunha- the header and then the quick reaction to the rebound. He's had a good half - it was his determination that carried the ball up for the corner to be won.

It was a deep corner right into the danger area, Palhinha did well to get on the end, his header thumped the far post...then he reacted quickest to side foot home of the rebound!
