@DBArgenis We can't sustain the power draw required to charge every car in US. Also, the damage done to our planet and people to harvest rare earth metals for batteries is getting epically bad. Hydrogen pumps I will take over this any day of the week.
@MarlonRibunal Memory could all be filled with that one workload, whereas in prod it is fragmented with lots of other workloads. May have picked different execution plan due to stats difference too.
@sql_r I think creating one large publication with all the data can be problematic when you need to re-snapshot because of issues or changes. Try to do domain/use case specific publications.
@tarah That is what American corporate greed gets us. Fewer choices and higher costs over lifetime, then if you don't comply, they fire you as a customer.
@DBArgenis I found rclone which looks to mount to cloud providers, but on windows, man there looks to be a ton of dependencies to make it work. Maybe we give up on idea of easy programming with one drive letter standard.
@DBArgenis or others, what is good mechanism to present GCS buckets to Windows servers that is fast, reliable and stable? For data engineering tasks from sql server on VMs in GCP to ftp or big query?
