A 2nd grade student in Mrs. Schuchardt's class landed on the "challenge" space on their class reading board game. She earned her roll by reading 60 minutes and chose to read to Ms. Meier's kindergarten class.

Our first graders had fun practicing their handwriting on chalkboards today! ✏️ They worked hard on letter formation while enjoying a fun change from pencil and paper. 💛

Our kindergarten students had so much fun learning about apples. They explored the parts of an apple, the apple life cycle, and did an apple craft!

Thomas students had a bus evacuation drill today. The bus drivers explained to students about bus safety and helped guide us off from the side or back of the bus.

This morning we were excited to celebrate our CHAMPIONS OF KINDNESS. With Character Strong, our character trait for August was kindness, and these students were nominated for going above and beyond with their kind words and actions. Great job!
