@metoffice @1936matt Never experienced a storm like it. Here nr Sandwich, the lightning was absolutely continuous for 1.5 hrs with torrential rain that’s flooded some places, lifted road surfaces & created deep mud on roads from field run offs. Thunder wasn’t much but the lightning - like floodlight

@buitengebieden Unfortunately scientific research has shown that pet fur harm young birds in the nest. It’s the chemicals that are in the flea treatments for cats and dogs that are very harmful. Please do not copy this and I’m sorry for being negative about this - I am a big wildlife lover!
