Zero issue with Colton Parayko not waiving his NTC for #Sabres. Players earn them and teams give them out. STL wants to renege now, it's their problem. Sometimes these decisions have nothing to do with hockey too. Bad on STL to leak it out and pressure the player that way.

@worldhockeyrpt Army should have had a candid conversation with Parayko a while ago regarding rebuild and potential landing spots (and maybe he did). But none of this back and forth should have been made public by ANY party. It's not Paraykos fault here.

I get fans being upset about the Parayko decision long term for the team, it's his decision and contractual right. BUT:
