Fun fact: there’s no mention of the smell of the daffodils in the poem ‘I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud’ because Wordsworth was anosmic (he had no sense of smell and was really annoyed about it) 🙃
This is abuse, economic abuse.
Control over her body and choices, shaming and policing personal identity.
You criticized her skin, compared her to yourself, and used terms like “unpleasant to the eyes” and “rubbish she was using”, even went as far as withholding autonomy as punishment: seizing her card.
You ignored her perspective, she clearly made a choice based on her own insecurities and social pressures and instead of respecting her decision or having a supportive conversation, you're shoving your own down her throat.
“She’s a hoe, she likes sex” THANK GOD for the choice to be one. In some places I would’ve been married off by 12, had the right to my body stolen from me, uneducated and a mother of multiple kids. Shoutout to the loud hoes before me and the louder ones that will come after me!
