As part of the exhibition ‘En el mismo río’ at The Art House, University of Worcester, Santiago Méndez presents “Mercurio Orinoco”, a 3D video piece which shows the Orinoco River changing from lush green jungle to a deathly, metallic grey.
Méndez lives in Caracas. He has worked in editorial photography for almost a decade, which has taken him all over Venezuela. He has a diploma in Latin American Contemporary Art from the Metropolitan University of Caracas (2023).
