Russian rocket drones cancelled the Kyiv half marathon so I limped my version yesterday through London drizzle: along the Thames from Lambeth to Tower Bridge on the south side of the river, cross to the north and along the north side of the river back to Whitehall, up through town to Oxford Street, along the newly pedestrianised bit which was lovely, then across Hyde Park to end up in the Polish Club. Not 13.3 miles but not a bad effort bearing in mind I tore my quadriceps tendon in December 2023 while delivering crutches in Kyiv - oh the irony!

I was walking for a basket of Ukrainian charities: @fierce__calm which looks after injured soldiers is just one of them.

If you can, please help me help Ukraine.
