@villareport@J_Tanswell I have a feeling, as with the loan deal for AWB, the final price seems lower because no doubt we are paying a loan fee now for a year so it offsets the price next year.
@CBSSportsGolazo@GeoffShreeves Utter tosh. We’ve done a lot of business, but unfortunately some have joined carrying knocks, or have picked up knocks preseason. Plus the WC meant some weren’t back in time for preseason, and shove in the Super Cup for good measure. Need more signings? Yes. But it’s one game…
What do the new Premier League financial rules mean for your club’s ambitions?
Do the new rules benefit the ‘big six’? Is there now a glass ceiling for everyone else?
@CWeatherspoon_ runs the numbers and finds that:
■ Had SCR rules been in place for the last 10 years, we estimate there would have been 40 violations.
■ Only two of those ‘breaches’ would have come from a big six club (both from Chelsea).
■ However, no club would have met the threshold for a sporting sanction (docked points).

@avfc_stef Totally agree. When Emery joined it took two weeks working with new players and almost none of his staff to help to get us looking a totally different team. It’s going to be difficult but not unsurmountable
@LoveMcGrathpod Don’t Forget that many of our senior squad had CL bonuses too, so our top earners like Emi, Youri, Lucas (of the ones we have moved on) were all probably getting extra on top of their basic.

@JacobsBen This is exactly the reason that no one takes you seriously. A stooge for agents to spread misinformation to try and get clicks. Scourge on the industry, and unfortunately there are some that are gullible enough to believe your posts. Shame on you.
