We are a class of Year 3 children at Havannah First School,(formerly Broadway East) in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are part of the Gosforth Schools' Trust.
Our final music workshop was fantastic! Our ceilidh dancing was brilliant because we listened to the music carefully. Thank you very much to Rachel and Cathy for teaching us. @MPNEHub
Squirrel class have always enjoyed visiting the library and we did today as well. It’s great to have the chance to choose a new book to read and enjoy.
In Spanish we practised numbers to 10 and then extended our knowledge by learning about 11-20. We then made and played a matching game, working with a partner. Fun and learning! 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone from Squirrel class. Thank you very much for your kind and extremely generous gifts. Have a great holiday and see you in 2025!
After hearing the Christmas story with Reverend Rundell, we went to a great craft session. We all made something that contributed to this lovely scene which can share in our classroom. #teamwork
@SquirrelsHFS and @DeerClassHFS have enjoyed a brilliant dress rehearsal this afternoon, with Key Stage 1 as our audience. We’re looking forward to Monday morning when we are performing for our families and friends. See you on Monday at 9 o’clock!
It was Team Talent this afternoon and I worked with the Reading Ambassadors to tidy and organise the school library. They were amazing and I am really proud how hard they worked to help the whole school. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💛💚💛💚
Squirrel class had a great discussion about hill forts in the Iron Age today. We worked in groups to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different locations before we choose a site for a new settlement.
I’m really enjoying reading about the outdoor activities that Squirrel class did at the weekend. Look at this beautiful piece of artwork made using using leaves that were collected when tidying the garden
