IT will outperform other sectors, sure, companies might have got the understanding at least for next 3 years how many humans need to peform the tasks.

IT Index is up a clean 12% from it's recent low.

The index is still down 33% from all time highs.

A look at 12M forward PE multiples (via Bloomberg)
-> At highs (in December 2024): 34x
-> Now: 17x
-> 20 year median: 17x

Question is - have we made a bottom ? Sometimes a ignored sector makes a stealth move & it is up 20-25% before anyone notices. Is it one of those ? Or is this just a plain vanilla bounce which gets sold into eventually ?

We will be wiser in hindsight but don't think anyone has a solid answer right now.

@DealsDhamaka I know people who returned back to India for genuine reasons, many in my circle. it is more about about the family. Average NRI would still stay for Pride, Status etc. Those who really dont care would come back for sure if there is a reason.
