@plasma_node they do still hand out bans though. all i meant is that “unrestricted” chats most likely run the same filter as normal chat. was only trying to spread awareness
@RoUtilityNews Trusted Friends lets friends chat more freely. Friends can report each other, and Community Standards still apply. Bans are for severe or repeated violations, not swearing. While no system is perfect, we’ve found no correlation between Trusted Friends and unfair bans.
You should probably not use friends chat right now. On top of the risk of a permanent ban: if you get a temporary ban, get unbanned on appeal, and then someone reports the same messages again, you get banned again for the exact same thing!!!!
Roblox users are getting banned for Child Safety, showing Chat Evidence IDs with no explanation of what they did wrong.
This is apparently happening because of Roblox's new Trusted Chat feature, so I advise everyone not to use the Roblox Chat until this is resolved.. This AI ban system is also entirely different from what was announced by Roblox on the DevForum.
We've been early adopters of Rust since 2018 and a lot of our infra, voice tech, and even some of the current client is already Rust, the holy grail was getting the whole client there. That means Electron goes away, and so does React Native, mobile keeps native UI but shares app code with desktop via Rust. We hope to get it into testing with users soon™. (And it's not Tauri, it's GPUI, so good guess everyone.)
Alright, back to staring at the WoW Forever login screen.
I'm excited to announce that I am now the official Lead Developer for @BLOCKBOUNDdev!!
Due to recent ownership changes, I handle coding/programming and other cool stuff like that.
I'm known for being interactive with the community!
I'll maybe stream development, coach on coding, and more!
I'm excited to make my entrance to the dev team!

@ghostdevz@shinyflvres It is a justifiable ban. You should’ve checked manually before Claude uploaded anything, because whatever claude uploads is your responsibility
