We've updated our book display near the security desk @AlgomaU. "Celebrating Indigenous Languages" features books written in and about varying languages, including Cree, Anishinaabemowin, Inuktitut, and Maori.
Today is National Indigenous Veterans day.
We come together on this day to honour and recognize the tremendous sacrifice of those who have fallen in the service of their country while acknowledging the courage of those who still serve.

Here is the new provincial plaque commemorating Shingwauk Hall. Working with the Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association and @AlgomaU we updated the plaque to more honestly discuss the legacy of the former residential school. https://t.co/EjIPq5sBBi
