Congratulations to Luke and Josh in Y8, for organising a fabulous family fun fundraiser for the Ukraine. The event was well attended and everyone had a great time in the Quiz, Rock & Roll Bingo and Raffle. We are pleased to announce we have raised over £600. #WeareBrightfutures

8Y2 have been learning how to analyse an artist and their work these are a few of the great examples the class produced. Not bad for a first attempt.

9Y1 have been looking at the Artist John Piper and have produced an artist study page on him. These are a few of the many great pieces of work the class produced.

In Textiles 7X1 have been looking at Line and mark making to begin to think about using the basics of drawing within their textile work.

Below is 10A's Acrylic Pepper painting part way completed. They have been working on looking for different tones on the surface of the objects and applying it to their work.

We have had some lovely tonal ladders produced by 7X2 they worked really hard using Graphite and Charcoal.

Mrs. Alty wanted to showcase 8y2's work they have been working hard at ensuring their outlines are accurate and they are applying a good variety and range of tones.
