Know the change you want, but keep rephrasing the prompt? I'm building Ahed with context-aware prompt autocomplete and follow-up suggestions to ease that effort.

What part of prompting trips you up?
@BMadusudanan Curious what the intermediary actually adds: more structure, context it asks you for, or clearer acceptance criteria? If it is mostly the last, a short "done means..." line in your own prompt may get you part of the way without the extra hop.
@Eldergenix@cactustit@rezoundous Of those three fields, which made the biggest difference: completion boundary or success evidence? The boundary seems underrated, since it stops the agent from "finishing" at a stub or drifting into deploys.
@kappathet@CodexResets1 A short reusable UI brief at the top of the prompt (spacing scale, type, one or two reference screenshots, "avoid default component styling") cuts a lot of the back-and-forth. Which detail do you end up re-explaining most?
@kappathet@elvisautet@thsottiaux Which details do you end up re-explaining every time: layout, spacing, overall feel? Writing them once as a reusable style brief helps. I'm building Ahed, prompt autocomplete and suggestions for that composing step. Waitlist: https://t.co/V9YV28usmS
@Narutaru86 One thing worth carrying into that focused Codex task: the approaches you rejected and why. Acceptance criteria say what success looks like; a short do-not-revisit list helps keep settled trade-offs from becoming open questions again.
@layer7dan What did the original prompt leave out that sent you into those 3 hours of backend debugging? A useful check before asking for code: have the agent restate the expected database behavior and flag assumptions for you to confirm.
@vicky_grok Good analogy. The prompt is the one thing on that desk you control directly every turn, so it's worth getting right. I'm building https://t.co/6vynqTo1ij to suggest context-aware prompts so less of the desk gets wasted.
