The NPA should pause Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala’s proposed plea deal until it independently reviews allegations made at the Madlanga Commission against two lead investigators, @tebogokhaas from Public Interest SA says.

He says the move would protect the integrity of the criminal justice system and strengthen public confidence by ensuring the investigation and any plea agreement are beyond reproach.
