A highly successful leader at Shenandoah, Salkoski compiled a 232-99 record over 14 seasons as the girlsโ basketball head coach, highlighted by two Class 2A state championships and two runner-up finishes.
His teams consistently competed at a high level, capturing nine sectional, five regional, and four semi-state titles during his tenure.
A 1976 Cambridge City Lincoln graduate, Salkoski was a multi-sport athlete in football and baseball before earning degrees in math and secondary education from Ball State. He went on to coach football, baseball, boysโ golf, and JV basketball before taking over the girlsโ program.
A multiple-time WRAC and Ball State Alumni Coach of the Year, Salkoski coached numerous All-Star players and award winners. He now serves as Shenandoahโs athletic director, entering his 16th year.
