Honored to have been recognised as a Leader in Courage and Innovation (2026) by the @Renew_Democracy in New York City last night. I dedicate this award to the Ugandan men and women who have been killed, unfairly detained, or disappeared in our collective pursuit for a better Uganda. Their sacrifices shall certainly pray off.
I applaud my fellow Honorees: @AmbJohnBolton (US National Security Advisor 2018-19 and US Ambassador to the UN 2005-06); Ms. @cafreeland (Economic Advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Deputy Prime Minister of Canada 2020-24); and @SenMarkKelly (US Senator for Arizona and NASA Astronaut 1996-2011) for their contribution to democratic causes.
Thank you, RDI! Uganda shall be free!
From my lonely hideout, I've spent the day reading the many beautiful birthday messages. Thank you, friends, for the outpouring of love and encouragement. I’m really humbled🙏🏾❤️
I’m grateful to God for the gift of life, for the friends and family that He has surrounded me with, and for the many second chances I have had in life.
For whatever we have accomplished, that was the almighty God working through us. The glory goes to Him. For the mistakes and missteps along the way, that's mine. I take responsibility while struggling to improve.
Cheers to a new age and a new page.
May the rest of our days be the best of our days.
It has been a long walk, and the trail ahead is still deep and demanding. Yet I am glad that the message of change has reached every corner of our land. We can now see the rays of light from a distance, and soon we shall walk into that light with our heads held higher. Thank you once again, Mable City, for your resilience and unwavering courage!

The Only Reason They're Insisting You Go Away After Casting Your Ballot is Because They Want to Rig the Election. Stay around the Polling Station Until the Ballots Are Counted!
