I missed an interview that could have changed the trajectory of my career, all because I didn’t check my inbox.

Lesson learned.

Applying for jobs is not enough. Check your emails regularly. Your next opportunity might already be sitting in your inbox.

As a job seeker, your email should be your best friend.

I just saw someone ranting about missing an interview because she didn’t check her email, and it reminded me of a costly mistake I made last year.
