Thursday morning and markets opened flat. GIFT Nifty at 24,302 — barely changed from yesterday's close of 24,303. No big gap up or down.
Yesterday was solid though — Nifty jumped 1.10% to close at 24,250. Sensex up 888 points. IT stocks led the charge again. TCS up 3%, Infosys up 2.7%. FIIs also turned buyers — ₹755cr net inflow.
But US markets crashed overnight — S&P down 1.5%, Dow down over 2%. That's why we're flat today. Asia is also bleeding. Korea's KOSPI crashed 6%, Japan down 2%, Taiwan down 3.8%. Global chip selloff is spreading.
Fed held rates yesterday but 3 members voted for a hike. So rates might not be done yet.
Stocks I'm watching:
→ TCS — leading IT bounce, up 3% yesterday
→ Infosys — also strong, riding the wave
→ Coforge — up 6% yesterday, momentum play
→ BEL — down 2.5% despite good Q1, CLSA target ₹522
→ HDFC Bank — flat after warning letters to top execs
Key levels: 24,100 support, 24,350 target. Break 24,350 and we run to 24,500.

Microsoft stock jumped after earnings.
Meta stock got destroyed after earnings.
Same sector. Same AI story. Completely opposite reactions.
Why? Because one company proved it can MAKE money from AI. The other just proved it can SPEND money on AI.
And if you own US tech stocks from India, this split is everything. Let me explain 🧵
Midday macro 🔥
US stocks closed strongly higher yesterday, while Indian markets are consolidating today.
Nifty and Sensex are trading mildly lower midday after the recent rally.
Oil is steady near $81 per barrel 🛢️
Gold is holding around $4,060 per ounce 💪

Thursday morning and markets opened with a small gap up. GIFT Nifty opened at 24,740 — up 0.43% from yesterday's close of 24,634. Sensex also opened higher around 78,900.
Yesterday was decent — RBI kept repo rate unchanged at 5.25% (as expected), but they lowered inflation forecast which was a positive signal. Nifty closed at 24,634, Sensex at 78,581.
But there's bad news today — Trump imposed an extra 25% tariff on India for buying Russian oil. That's a big deal and could hurt exports. Markets might give up some gains because of this.
Also watching:
→ NSDL IPO listing today — expected 15% listing gain, priced at ₹800
→ Bajaj Auto Q1 profit jumped 14% to ₹2,210 crore
→ SpaceX crashed 13% overnight despite beating earnings — AI spending scared investors
Stocks I'm watching:
→ NSDL — IPO listing pop expected
→ Bajaj Auto — strong Q1, stock could move
→ IT stocks — TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech (tariff worries might hit them)
→ Banking — HDFC Bank, SBI (RBI hold means no rate relief yet)
Key levels: 24,400 support, 24,800 target. Trump tariff news could push us back to 24,500.

This week Indian market was like that friend who throws a party on Monday but ghosts you by Friday 😅
Nifty ended at 24,570 (+0.8%) Sensex at 78,499 (+0.5%)
But the REAL story? Small caps partied HARD (+2.7%) while most sectors cried 😭
Thread below 👇
Sunday Stock Pick #2: QQQ
I put ₹1 Lakh in Nifty 50 two years ago.
My friend put ₹1 Lakh in QQQ (Nasdaq-100).
Today?
- My Nifty money: ₹1,01,000
- His QQQ money: ₹1,63,000
Same risk. Same effort. Completely different life.
This is Week 2 of #SundayStockPick — and this week, it's QQQ.
A thread on why your money deserves better than Nifty 50 🧵👇

Intel just announced it's selling $15 billion worth of new shares.
Let me translate that for you: they're printing new stock and diluting every single existing shareholder.
The stock dropped 3% on the news. But this isn't just an Intel story. It's a warning sign for the entire chip sector.
Here's what it means 🧵
6.
SECTORS TO WATCH
The money is flowing into:
• Financials — 21% of PAT growth, NII expanding
• Materials — metals hitting record EBITDA
• Energy (upstream) — Oil India, Reliance delivering
• Capital Goods — Siemens Energy up 68%
These are not momentum trades. These are earnings-backed moves.
Everyone said Q1 FY27 would be a bloodbath.
Oil hit $101. The Indian crude basket averaged $100.74. Inflation was breathing down our necks.
But here is what actually happened —
India Inc just delivered one of its strongest earnings seasons in 5 quarters.
And if you miss this signal, your FY27 returns will suffer.
Cisco just had the best quarter in its 40-year history.
Record revenue. Record earnings. AI orders hit $9.3 billion.
And the stock got smoked after hours.
If you're wondering how a company can beat on everything and still get punished, you're not alone. This is the new reality of AI infrastructure stocks.
Let me explain what just happened 🧵
Your dad built wealth by buying HDFC Bank and never selling.
That worked for him. It won't work for you.
India is 3% of the world economy. But most Indian investors have 100% of their money here.
That's not patriotism. It's concentration risk dressed up as loyalty.
Here's why going global isn't optional anymore 🧵
Monday morning and markets are trading. Nifty is hovering around 24,350-24,400 — pretty flat after a brutal 5-day losing streak. We closed Friday at 24,354, down 0.17%. That's 5 red candles in a row — first time this year.
But here's the thing — the 24,260-24,300 floor has held for 5 straight sessions. Every time we dip there, buyers step in. DIIs have been buying aggressively at these levels. So either we bounce from here, or we finally break down.
What happened over the 3-day weekend:
→ US markets hit records Friday — S&P 7,799, Nasdaq 26,803
→ Brent crude around $87 — still high but not spiking
→ No major Iran-Hormuz news over the weekend
Stocks I'm watching today:
→ Bharti Airtel — surged 2.73% Friday to Rs 1,992, crossed Rs 2,000 intraday. Momentum play
→ ICICI Bank — finally recovered +0.40% Friday after two bad sessions
→ SBI — crashed 1.62% Friday, opening-high distribution. Watch if it holds Rs 1,065
→ TCS/Infosys/HCL Tech — all fell Friday. IT needs a restart
Key levels: 24,260 support (break this and we see 23,800), 24,400-24,450 resistance (break this and the streak ends).
Will today be the 6th red day or do we finally bounce? 👇

Everyone says "time in the market beats timing the market."
But here is the truth: most Indian investors still get this wrong. Every single day.
They wait for the "perfect entry." They sit in cash during corrections. They sell when things look scary.
And they miss the days that actually build wealth.
Here is what the data actually says. And it is not pretty for the timers.
🧵
Tuesday and US markets
Yesterday was bad:
→ S&P 500 fell 0.52% to 7,704
→ Dow dropped 0.5% — lost 277 points
→ Nasdaq fell 0.3%
→ All three indexes in the red
What's killing the mood?
→ Oil spiked to $90/barrel (Brent) — US-Iran tensions are back
→ Trump threatened Oman, said "we'll bomb the s*** out of them" if they interfere with Hormuz
→ 30-year Treasury yield hit 5.31% — highest since June 2007! Bonds are getting crushed
→ People are worried about debt and inflation again
This week is packed:
→ Walmart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot — all reporting earnings, consumer health check
→ Fed minutes Wednesday — will show what officials really think
→ FOMC meeting minutes could move markets big time
Stocks I'm watching:
→ Oil names — Exxon, Chevron — oil at $90 is good for them
→ Retailers — Walmart reports soon, consumer spending slowing?
→ Big Tech — after the pullback, any bounce today?
→ Gold — hit $4,445, people buying safety
Key levels: S&P 7,750 resistance, 7,650 support. Break 7,650 and we see 7,600.

Your Nifty SIP is giving you 12% returns.
But here is what nobody tells you: the rupee has fallen 10% against the dollar in the last 12 months alone. It hit an all-time high of 99.82 in March. And forecasts say it could cross 116 by 2030.
That 12% return? In dollar terms, it is closer to 7-8%.
This is the rupee tax. And if you are 100% invested in India, you are paying it in full.
Here is why global diversification is no longer optional.

How does this actually work?
They take a biopsy of your tumor. Sequence it. Find up to 34 unique mutations — neoantigens — that are specific to YOUR cancer.
Then they encode those into an mRNA vaccine. You get a shot. Your cells read the mRNA and display those cancer markers on their surface.
Your immune system learns: "This is the enemy." Keytruda removes the brakes. The vaccine steps on the gas.
It's like giving your immune system a wanted poster with the criminal's exact face.
Moderna just dropped 5-year data on its cancer vaccine.
And it's not hype. It's real.
49% lower risk of dying or the cancer coming back. 59% lower risk of it spreading to distant organs.
This is a personalized vaccine — custom-made from your own tumor's DNA — that teaches your immune system to hunt cancer cells.
The stock is surging. But the story is bigger than one trade 🧵
