SST

Deploy everything your app needs with a single config.

[SST @SST_dev]

a new maintainer just spawned

[Victor @vimtor]

i've joined @anomalyco to maintain sst and support @opencode

sst has always felt like the right abstraction - making complex but reliable infrastructure easy to use

it's an honor to work on that with people i've admired for years

[Victor @vimtor]

hate them or love them: they are inevitable

@cloudflare durable objects are now available in sst

[dax @thdxr]

finally a vercel user

we have these internal apps we create 100% vibecoded

and there really isn't a better place to throw those up, esp because opencode can do it all

one thing to make it better would be an IaC file the agent can create, thought i saw some mention of that

[Victor @vimtor]

sst now lets you easily add redirects and aliases to cloudflare components

no need to manually define page rules or reach for the dashboard anymore

[Victor @vimtor]

now you can set watch paths and ignore files to improve sst dev performance

this is especially useful in large monorepos with auto-generated files

[Victor @vimtor]

sst now lets you deploy cloudflare workflows

we're getting closer to the cloudflare trinity - only a few major components left

[Victor @vimtor]

sst now allows you to deploy cloudflare hyperdrive

the docs include examples for @planetscale and zero trust tunnel for aws postgres

[Victor @vimtor]

now if you create a new sst resource inside a cloudflare monorepo, only the root 𝚜𝚜𝚝-𝚎𝚗𝚟.𝚍.𝚝𝚜 will change

we've also added a config to let you exclude directories from type generation for special cases

[Victor @vimtor]

sst now lets you deploy @reactrouter on cloudflare

this includes custom domains, caching, and much more

[Victor @vimtor]

now you can deploy @tan_stack start on cloudflare

this includes custom domains, resource linking, and local binding support during sst dev

[Victor @vimtor]

now you can deploy @cloudflare static sites using worker assets in sst

this means you’ll get better defaults, faster deployments, redirects, and much more

[Victor @vimtor]

now you can deploy @astrobuild on cloudflare

this includes custom domains, resource linking, and local support for bindings during sst dev

[Victor @vimtor]

this week i’ll be improving @cloudflare support in sst

please open an issue with any problems or features you might want

[SST @SST_dev]

what are you going to build with workflows?

[Victor @vimtor]

sst now supports durable lambdas (aws version of workflows)

you can retry steps, sleep, wait for approvals, and all the good stuff you’d expect

[Victor @vimtor]

smart users tend to pair SST with @PlanetScale

many have asked about it, so we put together a guide - including permissions, postgres, branching, and updated drizzle examples

[Victor @vimtor]

another update you might have missed:

aws functions now support streaming in dev mode

this has been a long-standing limitation that needed to be solved, especially in the age of ai chats

[Victor @vimtor]

you might have missed that we recently released a new major version

it's a very simple upgrade, you won't have to update your code in most cases

check the docs for more info

[Victor @vimtor]

we shipped several tui improvements:

- filter logs to specific lambda functions
- shortcuts to clear and scroll to the bottom
- drag for easier copy-paste

you should also see less flickering and better errors

[Victor @vimtor]

now you can deploy a DSQL cluster with sst

it comes with multi-region setup, vpc private endpoints support, and easy backups
