-get up and get out: run 6 days a week for at least 10 weeks
-the best plan is the plan we all believe in: follow your coaches program
-don’t be afraid to run hard: often running steady is easier than running slow or jogging because of form

🎯 Jaicee Jasmer | Sulphur Springs | Pole Vault

Back-to-back State Champion! 🥇🥇
Jaicee Jasmer showed once again why she’s the best in the country, defending her 4A State Pole Vault title in dominating fashion.

The #1-ranked vaulter in the U.S. cleared 14’4” to not only claim gold, but also set a new #UILState record in the girls pole vault!

Earlier this season, she soared to 14’6.25” at the Blackberry Relays — the #2 All-Time mark in Texas history. 🚀

Next stop: University of Louisville, where Jaicee will continue chasing heights at the collegiate level.

SSHS Cross Country had a great run at REGIONALS boys 6th as a team and girls 8th.

🎉 Edith Martinez placed 4th, Abbey Williams placed 14th and Jayden Conner placed 17th...all earning a spot at STATE on November 1st in Round Rock.
