@ztlaidlaw Can say that the new 100 hours limit do change my original plan of relying on GFN to play MH:Wilds (not confirmed if it will landed on GFN, but very likely), and ended up getting a RTX4070 8GB VRAM laptop with $500 discount this weekend to replace my 7 years old GTX1060 laptopπ
@monsterhunter Good news, but did that means we will be required to create another account (e.g., PSN, Epic Game) in order to play online co-op? If that's the case, please reconsider this, especially the recent backlash of Helldiver 2 and EDF6...
@ztlaidlaw Since AAA games on Apple silicon still need devs to port, I think it will all come down to Apple's commitment. If they can keep "making" devs to port their game for over 5 years, then it may still have chances; otherswise it will just ended like #Stadia...
@ztlaidlaw And it also makes me wonder: how could Google be so confident with #Stadia, while Microsoft already shows how difficult it is for new comer to take a place in gaming industry π€
@ztlaidlaw The saves can not sync across MacOS and iOS is a strange decision IMO, especially when both version is on the Apple echo system, and the content is the same on both MacOS and iOS...
@ztlaidlaw @phrostyxo Also some game devs spend their precious resources on making their game available on Stadia, but only learned that their efforts will be in vain after few months. For those unlucky devs, I don't know how Google will earn their trust back...
@NexusBen@ztlaidlaw People pay the subscription in exchange for what the company promised to give, did Google fulfill what they promised? Do those subscribers got the things they really want?
@ztlaidlaw My problem toward Google is that I can't find a way to be sure what product would be kept and what wouldn't. Originally I think the 7 years update promise is very reliable since they give a very cleared information, but then the Pixel Pass shutdown make me think twice π€¦
lol. The self-fulfilling prophecy is complete.
Nobody bought Stadia because they assumed Google would kill it, and Google is forced to kill Stadia because it's unpopular.
Google's reputation for killing services killed a service,. I'm not sure how the company ever fixes that.
@ztlaidlaw Guess it's a miss opportunity that Apple didn't include free copy of one of these AAA games for people who pre-ordered iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max at launch π€
@ztlaidlaw@Captain2Phones Oh I see, I thought you are just talking about the touch control UI, though you're talking about its usefulness.
Well, guess it's a miss of opportunity which iPhone 15 Pro only have one Action button instead of two π
