Dosbarth Skomer have embraced the snowy weather and are investigating the properties of snow! We are using our senses developing our descriptive language, constructing our own ‘snow selves’ linked to specific criteria and are using our DCF skills to photograph snowflakes!

An action packed morning with Year 5/6 @st_francispembs for our Human Body workshop. They learnt about our 5 vital organs, examined X-rays, built models and raced against the clock to correctly attach organs to an apron. The morning concluded with a heart dissection #STEMskills
This morning we began our topic of Waiting by enjoying the @CAFOD@CAFODSchools National Advent assembly. Afterwards we explored what it feels like to have to wait for something, we waited to open a surprise present which was a wonderful star to help us count down during Advent.
We will be celebrating Save the Children's Christmas jumper Day on Thursday 7th December. Children are welcome to come to school wearing their favourite Christmas Jumper for a small donation.
