@sarah_e_carr @USATODAY @hechingerreport It is insulting to our profession to suggest that we don't provide comprehensive evaluations and that if a parent wants a thorough understanding of their child's strengths and weaknesses that they should pursue an independent evaluation.

@sarah_e_carr @USATODAY @hechingerreport I was really disappointed to read this article and see that neither @NASP or a single school psychologist was interviewed. As school psychologists, we work hard to write thorough, comprehensive evaluations using various behavior assessments and neuropsychological assessments.
