Gave my @GBDBears chemistry students a chance to be extra creative this week. We applied the properties of bonding and IMFs through batik. Lots of student engagement!
@NOFeArScience I used 0.150M NaOH for the first time this semester and the results were the best so far. Didn’t take too long but the concentration wasn’t so great that it overshot too easily. If you have only one pH meter, set it up for the student with colour blindness.
The best teachers I know are not the ones to jump on every new strategy or initiative and completely throw out everything they’ve ever done. They are the ones who are not afraid to try new things, but who also thoughtfully and carefully consider all “ways of doing things”. 1/2
A huge thank you to the @Rotary Club Of Penetanguishene for their generous donation in support of our Breakfast Club.
We are so appreciative of our caring community. This will help to keep our Bears fed and ready to learn!
