Dr. Oz was explaining how deeply fraud has become embedded in the healthcare system when he recalled a bust in Philadelphia.

The suspect was being arrested for drug possession and sales, but before the police could cuff him, he had to log out of his day job...

DR. OZ: “Some of the things these charlatans do is, they’re shockingly effective at being grifters…”

“I was just doing a bust in Philadelphia and a guy was getting arrested and they’re about to cuff him, and he said, before you cuff me, I got to log out of my day job, which is being a home care attendant.”

“And the cop said, what are you talking about? I’m arresting you for narcotics possession and sales.”

“And he says, yeah, I got that as a side gig. But my real money is like all the all the drug dealers became home care providers and he logged out on his phone.”

“He was still making money. And the cop said, I’m going to arrest you because you’re lying to the, you know, because pretending you’re providing care.”

“He said, if you arrest me, you have to arrest everybody in Philadelphia…”

The media is freaking disgraceful. They will twist themselves into knots trying to paint Trump as a liar about 9/11 while the rest of us are trying to honor the nearly 3,000 people who were murdered and the first responders who ran toward the danger.

There is more footage of that man in Lower Manhattan after the attacks than half the people who still have his name in their mouths 24/7. He is a New Yorker. Born and raised. New York is a huge part of who he is, and you will never take that from him no matter how hard you try.

He loved this country then, and he loves it now.

Shame on every last one of you for turning a day that belongs to the victims, survivors and first responders into another cheap political hit job.

Trump can speak in his own style. His personality and humor are part of who he is, and for some people who lived through that horrific day, that can make an unbearable week a little easier to get through.

So, long story short: STFU. Keep his name out of your mouth.

Do actual journalism. Interview the victims’ families WHO LOST PEOPLE THAT DAY. Hear their stories. Honor them. Honor their legacy.
