I was trying to go to Angola one time and back then the oil companies used to buy up every hotel room in Luanda to make sure they had enough, and then just release them on the day. You could definitely get a hotel room; you just couldn't really reserve it in advance. You think JPM travel was going to let me go to Angola without a hotel reservation in place though?
