There are much worse accounts in the new @unitedforrights report on Azerbaijan's abuse of Armenian POWs, but this one stood out: "Matevos... was provided food only once [in 3 days]... they were told they only had 20 seconds to eat as much as they could." https://t.co/OPv6yyFWZU
In this blog post I discuss whether the fate of the Armenian religious heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh will be the same as that in Nakhichevan.

The @LemkinInstitute's Armenia/Artsakh Project aims to raise awareness around the world about the global threats to #Armenian life. Starting in 2021, we have repeatedly warned of the threat of genocide to Armenia from its neighbor, #Azerbaijan. (1/9)
An Azerbaijani woman displays the "Grey Wolves" gesture, representing how, in Azerbaijan, the general population perceives the process of integrating Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh into Azerbaijani society. It was never meant to be integration but subjugation or ethnic cleansing
Not a big secret:
BP projects have helped fund Azerbaijan military aggression, say campaigners
Global Witness claims UK firm has indirectly helped fund ethnic cleansing of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh https://t.co/XYZjkaQfZ9
Increasingly irredentist and expansionist, Azerbaijan has already created the physical infrastructure inside Armenia to implement an extraterritorial corridor plan, @AnnaOhanyan03 writes. https://t.co/1MD5O7iU7U
I have determined that these frames depict the identical location (diagram enclosed, featuring terrain, trees, and inclines), hence involving the same individuals. This is clear evidence of the large-scale execution of Armenian military personnel by Azerbaijani perpetrators. The footage illustrates Azerbaijan's war crimes committed against Armenia and Artsakh. This atrocious act demands attention before an international tribunal. I do not add video materials for ethical reasons.
During Azerbaijan's September bombing of Artsakh, hundreds of civilians were murdered. Almost all Armenians of Artsakh have fled: they know that Armenians who have fallen into the hands of the Azerbaijani military have been treated with maximum cruelty. https://t.co/5X5TI4n4oR
The dangerous Azerbaijani criminal is vandalizing an Armenian man's private house in Nagorno-Karabakh. We must acknowledge that we are dealing with declassed savages who exhibit traits of both sociopaths and psychopaths.

Excellent perspectives by @AnnaOhanyan03 in this article, “Azerbaijan’s Armenian ‘Corridor’ Is a Challenge to the Global Rules-Based Order,” that was published today in @ForeignPolicy 👇

For Western pundits supporting Azerbaijan against Armenia because of Armenia-Iran ties @mrubin1971 points out: "Armenia’s trade with Iran is equivalent to Azerbaijan’s" while Turkey’s "approximately $6.4B trade with Iran" equals Armenia's budget.

Big thanks to the team of the EU civilian mission in Armenia. We must strengthen EUMA as quickly as possible to further monitor the entire border to stabilise the situation and to identify possible Azerbaijan attacks on Armenian territory. #ontheRoth 🇦🇲🇪🇺🇩🇪
NEW In my latest @TIME piece I reflect on the threat of an invasion of Armenia, arguing that history is teaching us that some democracies—like some lives—are worth more than others. https://t.co/HBNyHgqV3A
Peacebuilding projects between Azerbaijan and Armenia are strategically false. Why? Because:
1) They ignored two large societies in Azerbaijan from the dialogues - the Talysh and Lezgins.
2) They ignored religious leaders in dialogues. This is a very important point, because the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict also has religious roots.
3) Azerbaijani far-right radicals joined the dialogue, introducing themselves as “peacebuilding activists.” But in the last war we saw that they are building hate instead of peace.
4) They are not flexible. For example, after Pashinyan, the Armenian government stopped using hate propaganda against Azerbaijanis. But the Azerbaijani government has doubled down on hate speech against Armenians at the government level. But these projects act as if both sides are the same. This created a huge imbalance and benefited Azerbaijani nationalism.
5) They literally did nothing against Turkish propaganda, which has a huge influence on the conflict.
6) They were unable to reach a large audience. But it's so easy.
7) Ideological leaders and those who had the potential to write books were ignored.
8) We still cant see any powerfull art example such as book, movie, music and etc. But this things so easy to do.
I'm just wondering what we got from these dialogues instead of Khachapuri and Khingali?
