It's been a few days since I watched YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING and I can't stop thinking about it.

Truly a masterpiece. Brilliant at every turn. Layered, complicated, nuanced. A mirror.

Everything you want out of a film, but rarely get anymore.

Can't wait to see it again.

[Stage 32 Script Services @Stage32Scripts]

@RBwalksintoabar Absolutely a genius film! Still thinking about it.

Opportunities abound

You’ve been hearing me talk about all the work we’ve been doing in Italy and with various film commissions in the region through Stage 32 Certification. Always nice to get recognition for those efforts.

What started as an idea at the Torino Film Festival 11 months ago has turned into a movement.

Now we’ve been featured by both Cinema & Video International and Italy for Movies highlighting our global mission and specifically our expansion into Italy and the Italian entertainment industry
When I started Stage 32 15 years ago, my mission was simple: No matter where you live in the world, you deserve access to the people, education, and opportunities that can move your entertainment career forward. Seeing that mission continue to grow across borders is something I’ll never take for granted.

Over 1.5 million members worldwide on the platform, 70 film commissions, media companies and orgs we’re now working with through Stage 32 Certification, the world’s largest and leading entertainment education library, and we’re still just getting started!

Huge thanks to both publications for the fantastic coverage. More exciting news to come.

Much love ❤️

A Stage 32 writer's pre-pitch ritual that keeps earning script requests:

A fresh Google doc for every session. Talking points curated to the specific executive. And 3-4 prepared questions to ask them.

One pitch does not fit every room. Do you customize yours?

We asked Stage 32 Industry Readers what issues they see most in the scripts they evaluate.

"Generic plot. Generic characters. On-the-nose dialogue."

All three are the same problem: not specific enough to be only yours. Which one sneaks into your drafts?

Whitney Davis is breaking down why the great lines land, from WHEN HARRY MET SALLY to FLEABAG. What’s the movie line you still quote word for word?

[Stage 32 @Stage32]

Do all your characters sound the same?

Whitney Davis reads and buys scripts for a living. Starting Wednesday, she’s teaching a 4-week dialogue class on Stage 32.

WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. MOONLIGHT. FLEABAG. Then your pages.

10 writers. 3 spots left.

Writers: Whitney's current development slate is built from Stage 32 Creators. Don't miss your opportunity to ask her what she looks for in a pilot, what happens after she says yes, or how to pitch your series successfully. What's your first question?

[Stage 32 @Stage32]

Got a series or film in development?

This Wednesday, you can ask Whitney Davis anything about how a project gets from idea to sale.

She's co-EP of TRUE LIES and MIKE, and nearly every project on her slate came from creators she met on Stage 32.

It's FREE, it runs 24 hours, and it's write-in, so any time zone works.

Tag a writer who needs to see this.
