Ntokozo Masilela Ngwenya, 21, was murdered during an armed robbery at a filling station in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, on 5 May 2025.

It is alleged that the driver of the e-hailing vehicle Ntokozo was in - whose identity remains unknown - attempted to flee the scene when a group of armed robbers opened fire, fatally shooting both of them with an AK-47.

The driver was declared dead at the scene, and Ntokozo was rushed to hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.

Jayden-Lee Meek, 11, body was found on the staircase of the complex where his family lives in Fleurhof, West Rand of Johannesburg, on 14 May 2025. It is alleged that he was found undressed and with multiple bruises on his body.

His family had reported him missing the day before after his transport dropped him off outside the complex. In the early hours of the morning, the family was notified that Jayden-Lee’s body had been discovered in a corridor within the complex.

The family rushed him to the hospital, hoping he was still alive, but he was declared deceased upon arrival. No arrests have been made, and police are investigating a case of murder. We are heartbroken over the loss of such a beautiful little soul. Another child was murdered.
