@coachjayjohnson Not having distance kids race twice a week might be a better idea. You’re always talking about sleep and diet, which are very important, but over racing is the biggest problem with HS distance coaches in the US.

@hansonsrun Having 12 meets in a HS cross country season is why our HS kids burn out. In Minnesota we have HS coaches moving 7th grade girls to varsity and running 12 5k’s. Bad coaching.
