Used newspaper wrappers from the Russian Post Office in China are extremely scarce. In the last twenty years or so I have only seen six used copies offered on eBay & three elsewhere.

Newspaper Wrappers is one area of philately where there are many unique items to be found like this Algeria wrapper with a spectacular "paper fold". To the best of my knowledge this is a unique item.

During the Boer War, on 13 September 1900, the British Forces occupied Barberton. This postal stationery newspaper wrapper has a CTO postmark dated 13 September 1900.

The "PLEINE MER" handstamp was applied to mail posted on the high seas, (prior to the term "PAQUEBOT" being introduced). The handstamp was normally applied when the item was posted. This example must be a CTO.

The first NSW stamps appeared on 1 January 1850. They were locally produced, and depicted a scene of Sydney and its harbour, thus becoming known as the 'Sydney Views'. The 1d, 2d and 3d stamps were separately engraved yielding dozens of varieties.

Ars Medici - More information has arrived in the form of an advertising leaflet posted on 1 April 1911. The leaflet, in German, claims that the journal has over 6,000 subscribers.
