@Chris_Mills_@HammersUnited2@mywhufc@WHU_ISC Searches are a fact of life, I blame the insurance companies who insist for public liability policies. Even at Essex cricket there are bag searches for the few hundred pensioners who turn up for games, with their sandwiches and flasks, also at theatres. Can’t blame club for that
@thebmstand I don’t like our owners but then Birmingham fans didn’t and when Sullivan sold the new owners were worse, Yeung is in prison and Birmingham in League 1. If he sells we have no idea who the buyer will be. Boycotting is pointless as Sully won’t walk away from his £60m investment.
@gamblingdiary2@GaryAPrince What do you mean by need them out? Sullivan isn’t going to walk away from a £60m investment because you don’t like him. There has to be a buyer with the money who meets PL rules. Spare a thought for Sheffield Wednesday fans, going into administration because of their owner.
@E20WHU@talkSPORT@TheLawless You aren’t very bright are you? Sullivan is the majority owner, you think he should just walk and leave his investment behind? He will only sell if someone buys. Look at Birmingham, Sullivan sold to Carson Yeung who ended up in prison for money laundering with the club in league1
@1968Tv Football was a different game then. In 1985-86 West Ham played 52 league and cup games using only 16 different players in the starting team, and 2 of them only started once! Now there can be 16 players in one game.
@BillyBlaggEsq@CouchPotatoUK@Chris_Mills_ Absolutely right, but I wasn’t keen on Arnold Hills. Do you remember the Bond scheme, what a farce that was. I don’t like Sullivan but then I don’t like the owner of our local pub & I am happy to boycott it but I’m not telling him to sell up. I detest todays social media fans
@henrywinter My WHU season ticket at over 66 works out at <£10 per match. As my train fare to Stratford is more than that, I often don’t bother with live TV matches, especially on a Monday night. But I’ll make a point of going to this game, the current owners are not the worst we’ve had.
@claretbluesue I have a distance to travel and wouldn’t normally go to a Monday night TV game, even though I have a season ticket. But I am going to go to this match for the reasons you state.
