@o_dcfc 100% although PW will never be truly appreciated by Derby fans until he's gone. IMO PW's acid test as a champ manager will be this season as he now has the resources and is at a club to attract the right calibre of players for the league, something he didn't have at Rotherham.
@domjdietrich Any details to what exactly future success is built in the deal? Is it promotion? X number of goals? Winning the fa cup ๐ง? It sounds so Football Manager and I love it! ๐
To celebrate the release of ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ, which tells the inside story of Jim Smith's remarkable spell in charge, we've got some copies of the book to give away ๐๐

@jonnybed @ScottGretton@derbydaniel If he was given the full managerial position today, he could be out of the door within 8 weeks. Rightly or wrongly players are more of an asset than a manager, which is why you have > managerial turnover than players. It's easier (& cheaper) to change a manager than a full team
@ScottGretton@derbydaniel Most fans want LR to succeed but if we give him a contract and we're not where we want to be in 10/15 games, then it will cost the club X amount in comp to relieve LR of his duties. Every decision so far has been made with the best interest of the club, this follows that trend.
