Iāve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism.Ā But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. Itās stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. Iāve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnnās @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to āsmileā, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say āNo more.ā
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldnāt! And neither should any of us. Itās unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
This is a devastating interview.
Scott Pelley tells the NYT that Bari Weiss directly put a āthumb on the scaleā for Trump over the killing of Renee Good.
Hereās his explanation of exactly what happened.
Ken Paxton is throwing everything he has at us.
Heās called me a radical leftist. Heās called me a fake Christian. Heās even called me a vegan!
Iām an 8th generation Texan ā I've been eating BBQ since before Ken Paxtonās first indictment.
Michael Fanone: āScott Jennings accuses us of having Trump Derangement Syndrome. Scott Jennings has Trump Dicksucking Syndrome. He canāt manage to call out or hold Donald Trump accountable for any wrongdoing. Thatās the cult of MAGAā
So yesterday Donald Trump posted a video of him crashing Stephen Colbert's final show, and literally throwing him in the garbage, and of course, I had to FIX it.
Rubio says that US-led peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine "were not fruitful." Not fruitful?
āLetās look at the facts: your negotiators visited Russia seven times, and Ukraine zero times. You demanded concessions from Ukraine before negotiations even began, and throughout the entire process.
You pressured Ukraine by cutting off weapons support entirely, constantly badmouthing us, and showing up at our doorstep waving Russian "peace plan" you demanded we sign immediately.
āAnd now, after Ukraine stands more firmly on its feet without your support, you realize you can't pressure us anymore. So your excuse is that you are tired and leaving?
āHow about, for once, you actually support the victim, which is Ukraine instead of terrorist Russian regime? Send your team to Kyiv, support our fight, and apply real pressure on aggressor.
Sanction Russia and seize their shadow fleet instead of handing out sanction waivers. Do that, and maybe negotiations will magically become "fruitful."
Breaking: The Miami Herald has learned that Sarah Kellen, a longtime personal assistant to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, testified yesterday that she was sexually assaulted by former Miami Beach mayor and former Fla gubernatorial candidate Philip Levine. Story to come @miamiherald@jkbjournalist
COMMENTARY: Letās say it plainly: There has never been a president as corrupt as Donald Trump.
There is no close second in our history.

This New York Times piece is worth your time. Hereās what is happening, as simply as I can put it.
Back in January, Trump sued the IRS, an agency he controls, demanding $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns a number of years ago.
IRS lawyers did their jobs. They wrote a memo laying out the defenses that could beat the suit, including the fact that Trump filed too late. His own lawyer was in court when the leaker pleaded guilty in October 2023, more than two years before Trump sued.
The Justice Department never showed up to court. Never argued back. Never used the defenses sitting on their desk.
The judge got suspicious and ordered both sides to explain whether they were actually opposing each other or just colluding. The day before that brief was due, Trump dropped the suit.
Same day, his Justice Department announced a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded āanti-weaponization fund.āĀ
Trump gets a formal apology. The IRS agrees to drop any audits of him and his family, even though a 2024 Times report found a loss in an ongoing audit could cost him over $100 million.
The acting Attorney General, Trumpās former criminal defense attorney, picks the five commissioners who decide who gets paid. Trump can fire any of them. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are not ruled out.
This is the most corrupt thing Iāve ever seen from an American president.
Where in the hell are my Republican colleagues?

BOMBSHELL CONFIRMED: The Supreme Court corruption scandal that was lingering from a year ago? We can now call it CONFIRMED today.
Chief Justice John Roberts' wife pocketed $10.3 million recruiting for law firms with cases before his court. He illegally labeled it "salary" instead of commission on disclosure forms.
Justice Clarence Thomas took $500,000+ luxury yacht trips, $133,000 real estate deals, and decades of private jet vacations from billionaire Harlan Crowāall hidden from the public.
Justice Neil Gorsuch sold a $1.8 million property to the CEO of Greenberg Traurigāa law firm with 22 cases before the Courtājust nine days after his confirmation. He left the buyer's name BLANK on his disclosure forms.
Republicans: "The Supreme Court is impartial!"
The Supreme Court: a billionaire-funded cash register.
Three justices. Three scandals. Tens of millions in hidden money and favors.
This isn't a court. It's a corruption convention with robes.
Tell me again why we should trust these people with our rights?
I think my retirement plan should have been storming the Capitol on Jan 6th, and collect my payout from Trump! I served 5 years in State Prison for selling sugar to a Fed.
Every word.
Chris Van Hollen tells the plain, honest truth about the Department of Justice under Trump.
The symbol of this era: That stupid, huge banner of Trump on the DOJ building.
Itās a Declaration of Corruption.
DOJ is now a national disgrace.
This is the MOST corrupt Administration in American history:
āInsider trading
āSelling pardons
āCrypto and real estate deals
āArms deals
āBILLIONS in tax breaks for billionaires on the backs of the American people
And NOW the IRS giving Trump and convicted rioters BILLIONS in taxpayer dollars. This is outrageous!
Buttigieg on Sean Duffy: "I love roadtrips. I love America. I actually took a taxpayer-funded roadtrip lasted about 7 months. It was in Afghanistan. This is something very different. To make roadtrips unaffordable and then go around celebrating your own roadtrip is actually what people are so frustrated about."
Our long-range sanctions this week. Most of the operations are still ongoing, so the video captures only a portion of our results. Be-200 amphibious aircraft, a Ka-27 helicopter, a cargo vessel carrying ammunition, a Pantsir-S1 surfaceātoāair missile and gun system, a Tor surface-to-air missile system, a Redut-2US communications unit, drones, and many other targets have been hit. Our long-range sanctions also struck Russian oil industry facilities and ships. Distances traversed: nearly 1,000 kilometers from the line of contact.
These are our entirely justified responses to what the Russians are doing. We will continue to increase both the range and scale of these sanctions. I thank everyone working to build up our strength. I thank the warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and our intelligence agencies for their precision.
Absolute insanityā¦.here is Mike Johnson saying members of Congress need to be able to continue their insider trading because the yearly salary of $174K with healthcare and taxpayer funded vacations every other week is not enough for them
A $1 billion for a Ballroom, $10 billion for vanity projects in DC, $15 million for an arch in front of Arlington Cemetery veterans oppose.
Meanwhileāthey are proposing to cut over $1 billion in tribal programs, eviscerating tribal housing, education, water and other basic programs, while opening sacred sites like Chaco Canyon. How can they defend this?
They canāt. Because, itās indefensible.
