Two People Found Dead in Hughson Home

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 9:28 a.m., Stanislaus Regional 911 received a call from a juvenile stating their parents were deceased. Deputies responded immediately to the 1700 block of Fontana Ranch Road in Hughson.

Upon arrival, deputies safely evacuated two children from the home. During a search of the premises, they discovered two deceased adults, one male and one female.

Modesto Man Sentenced to 45 years for Human Trafficking Crimes

The exploiter, Daniel Salazar of Modesto, weaponized social media to exploit children. Salazar was sentenced on March 10, 2025 in Fresno Federal Court to 45 years and lifetime sex offender.
