@TVMoJoe@willmckinley This is why I’m such a huge proponent of privately owning & librarying content. Streaming platforms are shifting focus from subscriber growth to profitability and it is resulting in content removal. #OTT#TV
In what is perhaps the quintessential episode of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Fred Rogers trades in his cardigan for a towel. @JBully78 and I discuss the significance of this seminal moment for @JHistoryJournal

Major League Baseball is kidding itself. They favored short-term profits over long-term growth for decades and are now panicking to revolutionize the sport. Yet it remains inaccessible due to blackout rules & expensive ticket prices. Avg age of a baseball fan is 57! #MLB
@AP These rule changes are irrelevant. Until MLB teams lift the cable blackout rule to allow local residents to stream their games, few young people are going to watch.
@nytimes MLB is making all of these changes in the name of attracting a younger demo, but until local teams eliminate the silly cable TV blackout rules and become accessible via streaming, young people aren’t watching. And don’t even get me started on ticket prices…
@MLBNetwork@officialBBWAA@Mets@Dodgers@Braves My Jeopardy response: Who are three managers whose teams failed to show up for the postseason?
A clear signal of managerial excellence!
@JonnyHeller The Phillies lineup consisted of too many hitters who lived and died by way of the homerun. To find success in this league, you need some guys that can get on base consistently. It’s why Peña was so valuable to the Astros in the World Series.
Schwarber attempting to bunt with 2 strikes, 2 outs, and nobody on base in the 8th inning tells you everything you need to know about the state of the Phillies in Game 6 #RingTheBell#WorldSeries
@Sports_Are_Pain @Johnny_Chimpo6 @AdamN916@MattGelb Harper should be hitting first or second. You need to get your best hitters the most ABs. And you need to give them some protection. Realmuto and Hoskins behind Harper makes more sense. Don’t let the Astros simply take the bat out of Harper’s hands bc Castellanos is on deck.
With the Phillies wearing their powder blues tonight, the Astros should have brought back the rainbow uni’s to recreate the 1980 NLCS #worldseries#RingTheBell
I don’t know what’s more amazing - that it’s been 11+ plus innings since the Phillies last had a hit OR that it was Castellanos that got it. #worldseries
