Hello, I am 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮, and I am delighted to speak at the Expert Talks on the 𝗘𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, hosted by Austrian Standards. It is a pleasure to join distinguished experts and stakeholders to discuss the evolving role of standardization in supporting innovation, competitiveness, and international cooperation.

As 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 – 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 & 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗜, I have the unique opportunity to represent and promote 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 while working closely with the Indian standardization ecosystem. This role provides a valuable perspective on how closer alignment and deeper cooperation between Europe and India can support the development of globally relevant, interoperable, and trusted standards.

On 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿, I will share perspectives on the role of standards in strengthening 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗨–𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, in advancing interoperable, future-ready, and trusted standards.
