What a mature first half performance by this 18 year old. Recognizing that Spain did not really need him today and that he’s not fully fit, he never even got out of first gear. He did not try to force the issue and grab the limelight. He was very contained and super efficient in all his actions. He did not need to grab the limelight, he is the limelight. He showed a lot by not trying to show too much. He was focused on living to fight another day because he recognized that his team will need him much more in the games to come than they do today, a type of intelligence and maturity not often apparent in an 18 year old superstar on the biggest stage for the first time in their career. Bravo Lamine!!!
@randomswisslol Him and Bruno in the same midfield would be something similar to Vitinha and Neves. He does need to bulk up and get a little stronger though
You never made it to any cups at all, not even Mushin Cup, yet you think you have an opinion on Henry having an opinion about Ronoaldo’s performance in the World Cup. If we based opinion on personal participation or performance some of us wouldn’t even qualify to watch the game not to talk of having opinions.
We invest in Barcola, he could be the next Titi. Start out a winger but with his speed and directness will convert to a central striker. His finishing will get better but with the volume of chances he’ll create he’ll have a lot of goals even if he misses loads.
@GunnerManAFC@livescore@maijanwando We have been pretty harambolic for the most part of the last 7 years to be fair. Hence Martinelli’s seeming decline has not been a 2025/26 thing. It’s been progressive over those years. Same as a lot of our other attacking players
@iamofrano@thebottomcorna@bravenrugged Not even arguing that, but the original post made it sound like those other teams didn’t win anything in that time just because they didn’t win the Premier League.
I think it’s just picking and choosing what’s convenient for the narrative, much like all those years top 4 didn’t mean anything until all of them were praying to be top 5 even, just to get in. Then the FA Cup didn’t count because we owned it, but became a huge deal once they sniffed it. Let’s not be like them. Let’s be bigger and better.
Small club mentality if you ask me. We’re now trying to justify the embarrassment of only having 10% possession in a whole UCL Final game. Sorry, but I can’t get behind that style of play. That PSG team per player is not that much better than our team. Have some confidence in our boys and let them go out there and match up with their mates.
@ChampionsLeague@evalyours Right where you cut off, Saka is ahead of Neves, shields him off the ball and your corrupt referee called a foul against Saka. I think that was the same referee that officiated Nigeria vs Morocco in disguise. Same level of blatant corruption
After several excuses and blaming Arteta for actually taking his set pieces and winning the league, Liverpool said thank you for the short memories. Thank you for the sound bites Arne!!!
