The northmen in lore were always unhinged. The Starks are more stoic and controlled than the rest, but most houses/clans do some kind of wild shit or are straight up violent in general.
Like, c'mon, the second biggest house in the North has a flayed man as a sigil
I remember watching the entire second season of the Walking Dead on a long haul flight to Taiwan (I was going to live in a Buddhist monastery). The second season was so good, it turns out, because of a series dispute behind the scenes that meant the budget was cut dramatically. So instead of absurd set pieces and constant new locations, they had to focus on the characters in a single setting. As a result, everything was so much tighter, the characters actually felt real and the stakes were far clearer. Once again, this is an argument for arbitrary constraints. Give most creatives too much money and space, and they get nothing done. Nothing worthwhile, anyway.
Villains aren’t always born evil.
Sometimes they’re just children who were abused, betrayed, humiliated and pushed too far until the world gave them a reason to stop caring.
This is how a villain is born. 🥶🩸
This girl murdered her boyfriend because he was planning to break up with her.
After her arrest, her entitled parents stormed into the police station, demanding to see her and making a scene.
The officers explained that she’s 18 and legally an adult, so her parents had no right to be present during her interrogation.
Her dad’s response?
“But she’s dumb.” 🥴
Two years ago, Kamala Harris and the Democrats called it “ridiculous” that Republicans accused them of wanting abortions up until birth.
Today 10 states allow just that.
The dumbest thing about all this is the idea that using children as shields would be at all useful as propaganda before the invention of the camera.
The propaganda and politics in this show are aimed at the audience. Ormund set this up for YOU, the viewer, and it worked, funnily enough. Bless him.
Her ex definitely told her to fuck off; imagine wasting your late 20s & almost all your 30s on a cunt only to get called a loser because you likely wanted kids and she saw them as an obstacle to her 4th place finish in a Dem presidential primary
It actually makes a lot of sense that AOC stayed engaged for 5 years.
If they got married, Riley Roberts would’ve been subject to Congressional financial disclosures.
Right now AOC has a net worth of around $50,000. Her assets are mostly bank accounts and a small 401k in the low tens of thousands.
However, her famous “Tax The Rich” dress cost her almost $4,000 and she only wore it for one night.
AOC still has around $50,000 in student loans, so how does she have $4,000 to spend on a dress for one night?
Well, when someone marries a sitting member of Congress they have to disclose their financial records, so remaining unmarried keeps a partner's assets off the form.
The New York Post reported last year that AOC was keeping her fiancé’s finances off the books.
Turns out not getting married for five years was a very clever financial move by AOC.
