As we continue to raise awareness ahead of the International Day of the Girl Child, our team visited New Life Preparatory School, led by our Executive Director, @Faithyemeh, alongside our Communications and Programs Officer, @SukaiFatajo.
In line with our thematic focus on Access to Education & Scholarships, which includes providing essential learning materials to children, we donated stationery items, including pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, sticky notes, and other learning supplies to support pupils in their learning journey.
Beyond the donations, we held an engaging and interactive session on personal hygiene, self-confidence, and personal development, aligned with our Life Skills, Leadership & Talent Development and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) areas of impact.
It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of the pupils as they actively participated, asked questions, and shared their thoughts.
We believe that every pencil placed in a child's hand, every lesson shared, and every word of encouragement given is an investment in a brighter future. When children have access to the right resources, knowledge, and support, we do more than help them succeed in school. We empower them to believe in their potential, pursue their dreams, and shape their own futures.

As part of our efforts to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child, the @StandoutForAll team visited Sheikh Mass Kah Secondary School.
It was a beautiful and engaging session with 200 girls, during which we led discussions on ending child marriage and promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive and build a better future. As part of our commitment to keeping girls in school, we also donated sanitary pads to the students through the schoolβs principal, Mr Musa Njie.
