Later games make it clear that the outbreak was gradually building in the background for months, eventually reaching a boiling point in late September
@TheHollowNox I mean, RE6 isn't really fun to play, and neither is RE5 in the later parts of the game. I'd argue being frustrating to even play makes a game bad

@heavyxeyed Yeah but that's not what we're talking about. The story is a core part of the identity of the Resident Evil franchise. To completely disregard it when talking about an RE adaptation because you personally don't give a shit about stories in games is ridiculous.

@Nostalgia_REBH I mean fucking hell, both RE4 and RE5 have tank controls, literally the only difference between those and the classics is fixed cameras, but they otherwise control the same

@hope_indecay I mean tbf, RE4 is when Resident Evil started really divulging from its core identity, with Las Plagas being a very different threat than the T-Virus. I feel like a more apt comparison is G-Birkin in RE2, which I feel like is the main basis for the monsters in this movie
@redfieldsrookie Even if you look at a game like RE4 which does have a shop, you literally can't sell key items until you can't use them anymore, so this situation is impossible in any scenario
@G0ffThew I fucking hate WTRC man. It's the most "Hey look the thing you like but not really!" thing in the world. They have the visuals pretty much ripped from the game, but then the story is a weird amalgam of RE1 and RE2 that's faithful to neither of them
@TrapperDStar America literally doesn't have geography in its curriculum. They don't even teach you the states, let alone other countries. It's actually abysmal living here
