Never forget the sacrifice of the Glorious Martyrs of Compiègne who chose the guillotine of the French Revolution rather than break their vows to Christ the King
Calling diversity & inclusion hire, Elliot Page (Sinon) “inconsequential” in The Odyssey, is either extreme naivety or purposely downplaying a subversive, political casting/role.
Page may be on the screen for only a few minutes, but the character’s story is woven throughout the film.
REMEMBER, Sinon isn’t even in the source material (Homer’s Odyssey or Iliad).
Downplaying a woman larping as a man, stealing a role from an ACTUAL man, is a slippery slope. It’ll start with: “Oh, whatever. It’s just a few minutes of screen time.” to trannies taking more prominent roles in the future.
This should not be accepted. It should be mocked.
Wanting us to accept a 5 ft nothing 90 lb woman playing the role of a Greek male warrior, is equivalent to putting a popsicle stick in a turd and expecting me to call it a fudgsicle. I won’t do it.
