Miss Clarke surprised Mrs Carr in celebration assembly this morning! We are so proud of Mrs Carr, who has recently passed her NPQH! We never doubted you for a second and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you! 💛💙 @SRSCMAT
Year 5 were so so lucky this morning…. We got to meet a real life author of the book we have been studying Street Child. We loved meeting @BerlieDoherty and asking her lots of questions! We look forward to continuing our conversation and sharing some of our work with her.

As part of ‘Sports Week’ we were lucky to have a video call from Abbie Wood (Miss Wood’s sister) yesterday-as she prepares to head to the Tokyo Olympics 2021 to represent Team GB in the 200m medley, 200m breaststroke and the freestyle relay. What an inspiration! @SRSCMAT
Today our Head Boy and Head Girl made us beyond #proudtobestannes when they organised and hosted a cake sale and raised a fabulous £140 for Underdog International. Thank you Mrs Rose (FOSA) for your support 💙💛
We were extremely #proudtobestannes on Tuesday when a group of Y5 pupils represented our school at the CMAT ‘Stronger Together’ project day in Derby. The children were so professional and confident - we received great feedback about Team St Anne’s. Thank you and well done to all!
Y5 wrote some fabulous leaflets about the sacrament of reconciliation for Y3 pupils who will be receiving their First Holy Communion next year @SRSCMAT
Miss Foley’s Class have had such a fun week this week! They have designed their own chocolate bars, written adverts to advertise them in Talk for Writing, designed the 3D packaging on Purple Mash and finally made them today! #hook#tfw#purposeforwriting#purplemash#messyfun
Miss Foley is super proud of her Year 5s - who last week produced some outstanding double page spreads all about how Earthquakes are formed and what damage they cause. The children did all the research themselves and ensured they included lots of key non-fiction features!
@StagecoachEMid We have a dream to convert a bus into an outdoor library. We are a school who loves to read and we want to hook every pupil into the importance of reading as a life skill. We hoped you might be able to help 🤞🏻
