From my understanding: the current state of play on the managerial market - as of the moment i'm writing this:

Unai Emery: Emery is expected to stay at Aston Villa. United and a few other clubs had interest. He's playing a big part in transfer discussions for the summer for Villa.

Andoni Iraola: Chelsea have him as their second option behind Alonso with Palace trying everything they can to acquire him - some big fees thrown around I hear. @NathSalt1 has reported today that he's been ruled out the United job.

Julian Nagelsmann: He was one of the names which was loved internally at #MUFC. If the world cup wasn't on this year, I honestly believe we could be having a different conversation at the moment. But the world cup put a major stamp on any progression.

Luis Enrique: He's closing in on a new contract as PSG as reported a few weeks back.

Marco Silva: Fulham are trying everything to get him to sign a new deal I'm told. His entourage has been reaching out to other clubs. He has big personal ambitions. Also on #CFC's list.

Enzo Maresca: If / when Pep leaves, Maresca will take charge of Man City. It is all but done on the Maresca side, as they await Pep’s decision - as reported by @HandofArsenal.

Xabi Alonso: Alonso has held positive talks with Chelsea officials over the managerial role for next season. He is keen to return to managing. He is Chelsea's number 1 target as reported by @MaxFSport

Oliver Glasner: He has attracted interest from Germany. His personal preference was to initially manage in the premier league and while this is still possible, interest from English clubs have cooled. At least two German clubs hold an interest in him.

My report from yesterday regarding Michael Carrick remains the same with the expectation to be offered the #MUFC permanent head coach role barring any last minute decisions. The club insist no final decision has been made yet as they go through a 'thorough process'.

Realistically there’s probably around 20 games left if our current performances are anything to go off..
Either way its 4 months, not that long left. The typical January transfer window meltdown is over the top as usual..

INEOS and Ratcliffe are fixing the Glazers mess. They may not be perfect but they sure as shit know what it takes to fix a financially broken club and that’s exactly what they are doing. There is no quick fix to the mess we are in, its going to take time.. there is going to be a lot of pain, frustration and a massive culture reboot.

Regards to this window, I’d like to remind everyone something the great Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “I'd rather have a hole in the squad than an arsehole” – this is very very true. People twerking for players without having a clue what their temperament is.. really need to relax..

We have a decent squad – but unfortunately its very young, inexperienced and in need of a few specialist profiles to master Ruben’s tactical setup. #Dorgu should help, he will be an instant upgrade at LWB and bring a whole new dimension to our attack.

However do you know the best thing for young players to develop and improve? GAME-TIME. Garnacho, Amad, Hojlund, Collyer, Mainoo and Yoro are all going to get plenty of minutes and this will only help them be ready for next season and to be part of a much much better season.

Try to stay sain, try to ignore the usually suspect fancammers, journos and aggregators posting sensationalised clickbait and doing everything they can to cause drama…

Stick to the plan.

Back Ruben – he’s not perfect, he will make mistakes but I’d much rather him experiment and try things during this season than next.. Its pre-pre-season for me and he can make as many mistakes as he wants. I like the guy and think he’s got the right character to see this through.

Hoe vaker je dan namelijk gaat, hoe meer punten je hebt, hoe eerder je kaarten mag halen. En het is een stuk eerlijker.
