A couple of insights from a member of their generation.

First, they were raised in the 70s, when children were taught to rebel against their parents.

Our devotion reminds them of their parents.

So they hate us.

Second, some 2/3 of them were guilty of covering up for abusers, none of them quit. Sadly, the majority are also homosexual.

That makes the true faithful mad as hell, which enrages them.

That’s why they prefer docile immigrants, who know nothing of our hierarchy’s crimes, but are very grateful for our tax money that they get from our bishops and their NGO’s.

Their character is in shreds. All they have left is pomposity and sanctimony.

So we must continue to pray for them, because, to paraphrase LBJ, “they’re the only bishops we’ve got..”
